Affiliation with a qualified Community Foundation offers many advantages. Through our relationship with Community Foundation of Great River Bend, we benefit from the expertise and experience of a 46 year old foundation with over $60 million in total assets.
We participate in CFGRB’s affiliate program which was developed to assist community foundations such as ours. Our affiliation with a qualified foundation was a requisite for receiving Louisa County’s share of state gambling funds through the Endow Iowa program. This progam has brought in over $470,000 to the Community Foundation of Louisa County since 2005, of which 75% or $353,000 has been granted to local non-profit organizations.
